Brett Porter, MD

Brett Porter, MD, is a geriatric medicine physician dedicated to caring for older adults at Intermountain Health's Cottonwood Medical Clinic in Murray, Utah. He especially enjoys working with patients experiencing dementia and those managing multiple medications, cases that allow him to draw on his expertise and take a thoughtful, individualized approach to care.

Dr. Porter knew he wanted to become a geriatrician when he started medical school, a path he was often told was unusual. The strong relationships and friendships he has built with older adults throughout his life continue to drive his commitment to serving as a steward for the elderly. 

Originally from Vermont, Dr. Porter is a world traveler who enjoys backpacking, biking, river running, skiing, and woodworking.
