Dr. Gardner is an Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in structural heart disease. He received his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and then completed his medical internship and residency at the University of Utah. Dr. Gardner went on to specialize in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease at the University of Rochester.
He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Gardner joined Intermountain Health in 2013 as the Director of Structural Heart and Endovascular programs at Saint George Regional Hospital. In 2018, he took on the medical director role for the heart and vascular program for southwest Utah. In 2022, he assumed the role of Enterprise medical director for the heart and vascular program at Intermountain Health. In this role, he plays a significant role in optimizing clinical, financial, and operational outcomes throughout Intermountain Health's multi-state footprint.
