Blair Rhodehouse, DO, is a board-certified sports medicine physician with Intermountain Health Southwest Orthopedics – Sports Medicine in St. George, Utah. Originally from St. Anthony, Idaho, Dr. Rhodehouse brings a strong blend of clinical expertise, military service, and patient-centered care to his practice.

Dr. Rhodehouse proudly served in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Major before his discharge. Since 2021, he has provided care at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia, where he has gained extensive experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across active and diverse patient populations.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Rhodehouse is dedicated to providing high-quality, effective care to a broad patient base. His clinical interests focus on evaluating and treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, with particular expertise in:

  • Chronic tendon injuries
  • Nerve entrapments
  • Throwing and upper extremity injuries
  • Joint pain and dysfunction

He has a strong passion for diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures, using advanced imaging techniques to accurately diagnose and treat both well-defined and complex, undifferentiated conditions.

In addition, Dr. Rhodehouse holds a Diploma in Mountain Medicine—an internationally recognized advanced qualification demonstrating specialized training in wilderness, high-altitude, and expedition medicine. This training includes the prevention and management of environmental injuries and illnesses, technical rescue principles, and medical care in remote and austere environments.

Dr. Rhodehouse’s approach to care focuses on helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. He is especially committed to managing complex cases and works closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan. His overarching goal is to deliver an exceptional patient-physician experience, grounded in professionalism, empathy, and the highest level of clinical expertise.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Rhodehouse is highly active and enjoys playing sports such as golf, tennis, softball, and basketball. He loves hiking with his family and supporting his children in their athletic pursuits. He is an enthusiastic supporter of Brigham Young University (BYU) athletics.
