About The Provider
Benjamin Berthold, DNP, is a child and adolescent psychologist at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Behavioral Health in Taylorsville, Utah. He supports patients and their families in Taylorsville, South Jordan, West Valley, and surrounding communities treating ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, disorder eating, trauma, autism-related challenges, and more. Benjamin is most energized by cases where he can truly partner with patients and families, reduce suffering, and connect the dots between lived experience and biology.
As a caregiver, Benjamin believes in being compassionate and practical, while using evidence-based practices. He spent his entire career in the caring professions—from five years as a bedside ICU nurse to his current work as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). He’s witnessed people recover from profound adversity, and that perspective grounds his practice in humility, persistence, and patient-centered goals.
Outside the clinic, the Boise, ID native is a runner and triathlon enthusiast who loves long trail days, and the reset that movement brings.
