About The Provider
Dr. Ben Robinson is an orthopedic surgeon at Intermountain Health's Sevier Valley Specialty Clinic and Sevier Valley Orthopedics in Beaver and Gunnison. He speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English and serves patients in Beaver, Wayne, Sevier, Emery, and Piute counties. He performs joint replacements, sports medicine, traumatic injuries, and basic hand procedures.
Dr. Robinson and his wife grew up in Southern Utah, and some of his fondest memories are of shadowing his father, who served as a family physician for more than 40 years at the rural hospital in Beaver, Utah. This experience fostered his love for rural medicine. Dr. Robinson has a deep appreciation for the residents of rural communities in Central and Southern Utah and is passionate about helping them live their healthiest lives possible, close to home.
After dedicating more than 20 years to the Air Force, Dr. Robinson and his wife were eager to return to their roots. They love living in rural, Central Utah, spending time in the mountains hiking, camping and mountain biking with their five children.

It was Amazing to have a doctor that really seems to be interested in my hip issues, and helping me to resolve the problems. Most doctors don't even care to get to know their patients but Doctor Robinson does. Talking to him is like talking to a good friend. I look forward to working with him and getting my health back on track.

He is the reason I left Cedar city to travel to Richfield to have him discuss plans for my torn meniscus's. Although, I do very much wish he would return to Cedar city so we didn't have to travel so far to see him.

Dr Robinson replaced my shoulder in 2021 I was very pleased with that experience so now that I need new knees, he is my first choice to do those joint replacements for me.
