Ashley Westphal, NP

Ashley Westphal is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with Intermountain Health’s Connect Care team, where she supports patients through virtual care. She treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction.

Ashley earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Montana State University in 2010. She went on to serve patients in several rural hospitals across Montana, providing both primary and emergency care. Through her work in family practice and emergency medicine, she saw firsthand how limited access to mental health resources can be—especially for individuals in rural and remote communities.

Driven to help close that gap, Ashley pursued advanced training and earned her board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Johns Hopkins University in 2016. Today, she is passionate about expanding access to high‑quality mental health care, no matter where patients live.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains of Montana. She loves hiking, horseback riding, skiing, fishing, and camping.
