About

About The Provider

Ashley Snyder, RDN, CD, is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Intermountain Health's American Fork Medical Oncology Clinic in American Fork, Utah, with a focus on oncology nutrition. She also has experience helping patients with emotional eating, disordered eating and eating disorders, diabetes, tube feeding, weight loss and GLP-1 medication use, women's health, and general health. Ashley provides medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and nutrition support.

Ashley loves when patients bring her all of their nutrition questions. She enjoys clearing up nutrition myths and misinformation and helping patients see that nutrition isn't black and white. Her goal is to reduce fear and uncertainty around food and help patients feel confident making positive nutrition choices. She values open, honest conversations so she can give each patient the support they need.

Ashley's care combines science with compassion. She uses current research and practical guidance to create plans with clear, doable steps for real life. She doesn't judge food choices. Instead, she helps patients find ways to nourish themselves, even when that means getting creative. She is warm and direct, celebrates small wins, and offers gentle accountability. She focuses on habits and overall well-being rather than diet culture. She also looks at the whole person, since sleep, stress management, and movement all affect health alongside food. With Ashley, patients are in the driver's seat, and she is their advocate and resource for all things food and nutrition.

Ashley is originally from Spring, Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys and caring for her pets. Her hobbies include keeping aquariums, gardening, getting creative in the kitchen, country dancing, singing, playing acoustic guitar, and writing songs.
