When not working, Dr. Shafton enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Additionally, Dr. Shafton has volunteered to provide medical care in other countries. He has travelled to Mwanza, Tanzania and Beijing, China. He enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that living in Colorado provides, including hiking, cycling, and skiing.

Doctor Shafton, Is a great doctor. He takes the timer to sit and listen to what you say. Explains what his next move is. And is just an all-around Great Doctor. His taste in baseball teams is not the greatest but we can handle that. (San Fransico Giants). But we all have faults !!!! Keep up the good work DOC ........
