Arnold Carlson Merrow, MD

Carl Merrow, MD is a pediatric radiologist at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He supports patients in Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, West Valley City, Millcreek, and surrounding areas, aiding clinicians in expediting appropriate diagnoses and therapies for their patients. While he finds challenging and unusual cases most enjoyable, Dr. Merrow is always working for an excellent outcome for all patients and is grateful for opportunities to make a positive impact on their lives.

Dr. Merrow has spent nearly 20 years working and teaching in various pediatric radiology subspecialties, including emergency, musculoskeletal, and fetal imaging as well as neuroradiology. His clinical interests include vascular anomalies/malformations, pediatric soft tissue tumors, pediatric neuroradiology, pediatric musculoskeletal imaging, and congenital anomalies. His services include CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds, fluoroscopy, and radiography.

Dr. Merrow spent the first 30 years of his life in Alabama, but prior to moving to Utah, lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. Outside the clinic, he enjoys hiking, running, gardening, and spending time with family.
