Anthony Shaheen, PA

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Anthony graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone with his undergraduate degree. He then began working as an athletic trainer and healthcare tech on the orthopedic floor at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. Anthony returned to school and, in 2020, earned his Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University in Fayetteville. He spent the next two years working as a trauma surgery and neurosurgery physician assistant in Marietta, Georgia. But orthopedics has always been his passion, and Anthony is excited to get back to his roots. He is passionate about caring for others and leveraging his time and talent to better our community and planet.

“I get to know my patients and how they want their care directed. But I aim to provide the best care plan for each patient while doing the least harm possible.”

When not in the office, Anthony loves to be outdoors. In fact, he believes that skiing has to be one of the closest things to heaven on earth.
