Annette I. Johnson, CNM

Annette Johnson is a certified nurse midwife with OB/GYN at Intermountain Health’s Intermountain Medical Center – Nurse Midwives in Murray, Utah, and LDS Nurse Midwives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She supports patients throughout the Salt Lake Valley providing comprehensive primary healthcare to women, including family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.

Annette worked as an ER nurse for ten years before deciding to “try out” Labor and Delivery. Unsure if she would get bored, but she ended up loving it and decided to become a midwife. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Wyoming and her midwife training at the University of Utah.

Annette grew up on a ranch in a small town in Wyoming, she is the oldest of ten children. She is married with five children. She enjoys anything outdoors, including camping, horse-back riding, cross country skiing, and hiking.
