Ann-Sophie Van Backle, DO

Ann-Sophie Van Backle, DO, is an OB-GYN in Denver, CO, committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to women across all stages of life. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery—especially laparoscopy and robotic procedures—for the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and hysterectomy. She has a special interest in managing complex hysterectomies, which she finds especially rewarding due to the significant impact they can have on a patient’s quality of life.

In addition to her surgical expertise, Dr. Van Backle is passionate about preventive care, high-risk pregnancy management, early infertility evaluation, and the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and practicing yoga. She especially loves going on adventures with her fiancé and their golden retriever.
