About Angela M. Anderson
About The Provider
Angela Anderson, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with Intermountain Nurse Midwives, caring for patients at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She has practiced full‑scope midwifery with Intermountain since 1996 and brings decades of experience to her work supporting women and families across the continuum of care.
In 2004, Angela stepped into a leadership role supporting the OB Development Team and now serves as one of two certified nurse midwives helping lead Intermountain’s largest midwifery practice. With experience supporting more than 4,000 births and as a member of The Menopause Society, she is known for her steady presence, clinical expertise, and calm, compassionate approach.
Angela believes midwifery is more than a career, it is a calling that reflects her values and who she is as a person. She finds meaning in guiding women and families through some of life’s most important and transformative moments, offering expert care alongside reassurance, empathy, and strength.
Raised on a sheep farm in rural Ohio, Angela was introduced early to birth work while helping during lambing season—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for midwifery. She is married, the mother of two sons, and a proud grandmother of two granddaughters. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, climbing, attending live music, dancing, and traveling.
Angela looks forward to welcoming you into her care and supporting you on your health journey.

Felt comfortable and appreciated her going over how I have had this problem before, and going over factors that could be the reason.

Angela is amazing to work with! She takes adequate time to hear concerns, provide realistic guidance and respect my autonomy to make the best decisions for my wellness.

Angela spent the time to listen to me and the challenges I am struggling with. I could tell that she was genuinely interested in me and did everything she could to help. Again, that hasn't been my experience in other medical facilities. It is evident that Angela truley cares about her patients and wants to do anything within her realm of experience and relevance to help.

I felt somewhat dismissed and was just referred back to the website I found her on. I wasn’t able to ask many questions and she wasn’t prepared to answer the questions I did have.
