Andrew K. Purcell, LCSW

Andrew Purcell, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker at Intermountain Health's Connect Care - Behavioral Health, working with patients virtually. He believes that life can be complex, but that learning simple, practical skills can simplify it and greatly improve mental health. He earned his Master of Social Work from Utah State University in 2011, graduating with high honors and being recognized as Social Work Student of the Year.

Throughout his career, Andrew has worked with a wide range of patients, including those healing from trauma, navigating the legal system, managing addiction or mood disorders, and members of marginalized communities. He considers himself a generalist and enjoys working with people of all backgrounds, helping them develop the everyday skills they need to navigate the difficulties that come with being human.
