About The Provider
Andrew Johnston, MD, is a pediatric radiologist at Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is passionate about making sure patients receive the right diagnosis in a timely manner and have a seamless experience throughout their imaging care. He is guided by a favorite quote from Anne Frank: "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
His clinical interests include musculoskeletal imaging, quality improvement, and oncologic imaging. Dr. Johnston especially enjoys sports medicine cases, where making the right diagnosis can have a significant positive impact on a child's mobility.
Dr. Johnston earned a bachelor's degree in geography from Brigham Young University and his medical degree and MBA from Northwestern University. He completed his training at Stanford University and is board eligible in diagnostic radiology.
Originally from St. George, Utah, Dr. Johnston enjoys sports and snow skiing, along with watching TV shows and movies in his free time.
