I like that doctor Christensen spoke about my son as if he was his, in the sense of giving me advice how to deal with the symptoms and other directions.

We aren't one of his regular patients so maybe it was annoying to see us, but my son had a temperature of over 103 and I just felt like my concerns were brushed off. I felt dumb for bringing him in. I told him about a diaper rash that looked concerning and he didn't even look at it. He didn't even check in his mouth. If he would have done these two things then maybe he could have seen the first warnings of hand foot and mouth so we could have diagnosed it earlier. I know there is basically nothing we can do for that but we had to diagnose it on our own the next day with a family member who is a nurse. It would have been very beneficial if he would have taken more time to actually look at our son.
