About The Provider

Dr. Andrew Burgon was born and raised in the mountains of Northern Utah and has always called Cache Valley his home. After graduating from USU, Dr. Burgon attended Kent State University, College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio, and completed his three-year surgical residency in beautiful Evansville, Indiana. A Level-II Trauma Center, St. Mary¿s Medical Center, and two other area hospitals became a second home for Dr. Burgon as he covered trauma call and emergency consults for the podiatry service. There he trained with the region's best podiatric and orthopedic surgeons in a spectrum of care from trauma reconstructive surgery to diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Burgon performs basic foot and ankle surgery like bunion and hammertoe correction, as well as reconstructive foot and ankle procedures for problems like traumatic arthritis or flat foot deformities. Dr. Burgon is extensively trained in conservative and non-surgical care as well, having worked with a broad range of patients; from collegiate athletes to children and from senior citizens to those with disabilities. Dr. Burgon loves clinic, eagerly working with patients to understand their goals and helping them return to activity and be pain-free as quickly as possible. Dr. Burgon is excited to return to Cache Valley to help the people he knows best, performing evidence-based conservative and surgical foot & ankle care.
