Andrea Tillotson, NP

Andrea Tillotson is a nurse practitioner (NP) collaborating with the pediatric radiologist team at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital. She supports pediatric patients and their families in northern Utah, helping the imaging team interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to treat conditions. Andrea enjoys helping patients feel better by using the least invasive treatments possible, ensuring they experience a quick and smooth recovery. Her patients and their resilience are what inspire her to work hard and do better every day.

Andrea believes that caring for a sick child means caring for the entire family. Her philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, precision, and partnership—using minimally invasive techniques to ease suffering, restore health, and honor the trust families place in me. When caring for pediatric patients, her goal is to ease their stress by making frightening situations less overwhelming and approaching each encounter through the child’s eyes. She recognizes the deep vulnerability both children and their parents experience, and strives to support families by actively listening, including parents in the plan of care, and honoring their unique knowledge of their child. Every child deserves not only excellent medical treatment but also dignity, comfort, and the reassurance that they are never alone on their journey.

Outside the clinic, the Utah native spends with her husband, daughter, and dog. She enjoys being in the mountains, whether it’s through camping with her family, fly fishing, or hiking.
