Andrea G. Alfandre, NP

Andrea Alfandre is a nurse practitioner (NP) working with the gastroenterology team at Intermountain Health’s Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah. She supports patients in Riverton, Herriman, Bluffdale, and surrounding communities supporting the team in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the digestive system.

Andrea is dedicated to increasing healthcare accessibility for uninsured and underinsured patients, as well as ensuring care is provided in the patient’s native language. She believes that every individual should be treated with respect and have their questions thoroughly addressed. Andrea emphasizes the importance of patients fully comprehending their diagnoses and the results of any tests administered, knowing that effective communication is fundamental to delivering high-quality patient care.

Andrea was born and raised in Tarija, Bolivia and moved to Utah when she was 18 years old to attend college. She is married with two daughters. Outside the clinic, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, hiking, taking long walks, and taking care of her chickens.
