Andrea Call, LCSW

With over a decade of experience, Andrea has dedicated her career to supporting children and families across a variety of settings including the public education system, residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient mental health clinics. 

She takes a client centered approach which draws heavily on cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. Andrea frequently incorporates books, art, sand tray, and other play equipment to create experiential learning opportunities for clients. She is committed to providing psychoeducation to both her clients and their parents, which establishes a strong foundation for meaningful change at home.
Andrea has experience working with diverse populations and diagnoses including depression, anxiety, self-harm and/or suicidal ideation, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, social skills training, disruptive mood dysregulation, OCD, autism spectrum disorder and trauma. She completed EMDR basic training (2020) as well as Trauma Informed CBT training (2020). 

Her goal is to empower children and families to effectively manage emotions, develop helpful thought patterns, create appropriate coping skills, and form healthy relationships. By providing a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment, Andrea works collaboratively with her clients and their parents to practice and master these essential skills. 

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys relaxing and snuggling with her dog Hunter, who often joins her in therapy sessions. She loves good books, quiet nights at home, board games with family and friends, and treating herself to a fresh manicure.
