Andrea Call, LCSW

Andrea Call, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic - Psychiatry and Counseling in Provo, Utah. She has more than a decade of experience supporting children and families, and has worked across a variety of settings, including the public education system, residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient mental health clinics.

Andrea takes a client-centered approach that draws heavily on cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. She often incorporates books, art, sand tray, and other play equipment to create experiential learning opportunities for her clients. She is also committed to providing psychoeducation to both children and their parents, building a strong foundation for meaningful change at home.

She works with diverse populations and diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, disruptive mood dysregulation, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, and trauma, and she provides social skills training. Andrea completed EMDR basic training and Trauma-Informed CBT training in 2020.

Her goal is to empower children and families to manage emotions, develop helpful thought patterns, build effective coping skills, and form healthy relationships. By providing a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment, she works collaboratively with clients and their parents to practice and master these skills.

Outside of work, Andrea enjoys relaxing and snuggling with her dog, Hunter, who often joins her in therapy sessions. She loves good books, quiet nights at home, board games with family and friends, and treating herself to a fresh manicure.
