Amy Wight, RD

Amy Wight is a registered dietitian nutritionist at Intermountain Health's McKay-Dee Hospital Nutrition in Ogden, Utah carding for patients across Weber and Davis County, with a range of nutritional needs. She treats cancer, diabetes, celiac disease, chronic kidney disease, and heart disease, and provides outpatient nutrition support. Amy especially enjoys working with cancer patients and their families, helping them understand the vital role nutrition plays before, during, and after treatment.

Compassion is at the heart of Amy's practice. As a provider, she believes we need more kindness, more compassion, more joy, more laughter, and she aims to contribute to that. She is dedicated to helping every patient improve their health through nutrition, meeting them with warmth and understanding along the way.

A lifelong Utah resident, Amy earned her degree in clinical dietetics from Utah State University. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors, gardening, walking, playing with her grandchildren, vacationing with family, and trying new recipes.
