About Amy Davis
About The Provider
I received my undergraduate degree in Biology from Colorado Mesa University and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University - Osteopathic Medical Center. My education was broad-based, and I've worked 22 of my 24 years in outpatient clinics with a variety of medical, neurological, orthopedic, and post-surgical diagnoses.
I've had the pleasure of working with a variety of patients, all of whom bring their unique stories and life experiences to the table; they have all taught me so much. My patients motivate me to strive to help them manage their conditions to achieve their best possible outcomes, with success at various levels, but always working towards enabling them to enjoy and participate in a full and happy life. What drives me is my thirst for knowledge and my desire to make a difference. I am a lifelong learner and have found physical therapy to be a career where innovation and change, with continuous updates in research and the development or refinement of new treatment techniques, have afforded me endless opportunities for continued growth.
I have recently returned to Grand Junction, which is my childhood home. I've rediscovered riding a bike, albeit now it's an e-bike, playing the piano, and golf. I have a passion for stained glass and enjoy where artwork takes my mind; it is my happy place. I have three wonderful children, all adults now, and raising them has been by far my biggest and most rewarding accomplishment.
