About Amelia Anderson

About The Provider

Amelia Anderson, MD, is a hospital physician at Intermountain Health’s Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Utah. She supports patients already admitted to the hospital and is passionate about providing high-quality care during some of the most critical moments in her patients' lives. Her clinical interests include rural medicine, global health, and critical care. She encourages her patients to always ask questions — whether something doesn't make sense or she's using too much medical terminology, she wants every patient to feel informed and involved in their care.

Dr. Anderson believes that patients are the experts on their own bodies — and she sees her role as a trusted consultant, working alongside them to navigate their health. She is especially drawn to inpatient medicine because a hospitalization can be a pivotal opportunity to make a meaningful impact and set patients on a path toward a better future.

Originally from Illinois, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending her time outside of work running, biking, hiking, reading, and cooking.
