Dr. Amber Messier-Gieri is a compassionate neonatologist with over a decade of experience in providing exceptional care to newborns. Specializing in the intensive care of infants, Dr. Messier-Gieri’s special interests include nutrition, the provision of breast milk, and optimizing neurodevelopment by minimizing painful experiences and exposure to opioids.

After earning her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, she completed her residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatology-perinatology at the University of New Mexico. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds a fellow status with the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Outside of work, Dr. Messier-Gieri enjoys spending time with her family, biking, skiing, walking, spending time outdoors, and reading.
