About Amber Coleman

About The Provider

Amber Coleman, MSN, NNP‑BC, is a board‑certified neonatal nurse practitioner specializing in neonatology at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. She supports families and their newborns in the NICU, caring for premature and critically ill newborns. She is passionate about supporting the smallest and most vulnerable patients while walking closely with families throughout their NICU journey. Her clinical focus includes caring for high‑acuity newborns, particularly premature infants and those with complex medical needs.

Amber’s philosophy of care centers on providing safe, thoughtful, and evidence‑based treatment with strong advocacy for her patients. She believes families are an essential part of the care team and strives to support, educate, and partner with them during what is often an emotional and uncertain time. She values close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, knowing that the best outcomes come from shared knowledge and clear communication.

Patients and families appreciate Amber’s compassionate approach and her commitment to delivering excellent care while helping families feel supported and informed every step of the way.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising their daughter. They love exploring Utah’s outdoors, whether riding side‑by‑sides or dirt bikes, and making the most of every adventure. Amber also enjoys paper crafting, playing volleyball and softball, getting lost in a good book, and relaxing by the ocean—one of her favorite places to recharge.
