Amanda M. Cantrell, RD

A native of Bend, Oregon, Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Denver and a Master of Science in Dietetics from Indiana State University. Having worked as a registered dietician for over a decade, Amanda’s clinical interests include weight loss, clinical nutrition, exercise, and behavioral health. She wants her patients to know that she does not count calories.

“I am passionate about defeating nutritional myths and encouraging a healthy relationship with food. Everyone has the right to enjoy their food and not feel guilty for eating the ‘wrong’ things. My job is to help find the middle group between the foods we enjoy and our bodies' needs.”

Married with a young son, Amanda enjoys spending her free time with her family, working on their mini farm and practicing aerial dance.
