About The Provider
Allyson Gilmore is an occupational therapist specializing in neurological rehabilitation at Intermountain Health’s Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Park City Neuro clinic. She specializes in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, vision therapy, wheelchair assessments, driving evaluations, and cranio-sacral therapy.
Allyson has practiced occupational therapy since 2010, primarily in in-patient neurological rehabilitation and outpatient neuro settings. She is passionate about helping individuals return to school, work, recreation, and everyday life following an acquired brain injury. Her interest in occupational therapy began while working as an adaptive sports ski instructor where she saw the profound impact an occupational therapist had on her patients’ quality of life.
Supporting individuals holistically through the brain-body connection, Allyson offers cranio-sacral therapy as a cash-based service. This modality may be helpful in treating people with concussions, chronic conditions, and migraine headaches. She is passionate about helping others get back to doing the things they want to do and to live their fullest lives possible, both physically and mentally.
Outside the clinic, Allyson can be found crafting, skiing, hiking, and enjoying time in the mountains with her son and family.
