Allison Khavkin, MD

Allison Khavkin, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN dedicated to helping women achieve lifelong health and wellness through compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes prevention is one of medicine's most powerful tools, yet she recognizes that annual wellness visits often reveal health concerns women have quietly endured for years. Her goal is to help patients prioritize their health, receive the attention they deserve, and make informed decisions with confidence.

Dr. Khavkin's philosophy of care is rooted in listening first. She strives to create a supportive environment in which patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Through education, guidance, and evidence-based medical care, she helps women make choices that best align with their individual needs and goals.

Her clinical interests include diagnosing and treating menstrual disorders, providing contraception counseling, preconception planning, cancer prevention, and menopause management. She also enjoys caring for women throughout pregnancy and childbirth, particularly low-risk vaginal deliveries and straightforward cesarean sections, which she describes as "pure joy."

Originally from just outside Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Khavkin earned her undergraduate degree in General Biology from the University of British Columbia. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew's University and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Outside the office, Dr. Khavkin enjoys staying active through Pilates and yoga. She also loves traveling, experiencing different cultures, and exploring international cuisine.
