About The Provider
Alin Cheran, MD, graduated with honors from the University of Toronto during his undergraduate studies. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica. Dr. Cheran completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Illinois at Mt. Sinai in Chicago and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. His clinical interests include cardiothoracic surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and atrial fibrillation surgery.

Dr. Cheran enjoys hockey, snowboarding, home improvement projects, and working on cars when not in the office or the OR.
