Ali Wheeler, NP

Ali Wheeler, NP, is a dedicated nurse practitioner at Southwest Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic in St. George, providing compassionate, patient-centered orthopedic care for individuals of all ages. She is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, recover from injuries, and return to the activities they enjoy most. Whether treating a young athlete, an active adult, or someone managing chronic joint pain, Ali values developing individualized treatment plans that improve function and quality of life.

Ali's clinical interests include sports medicine, acute and chronic orthopedic injuries, fracture care and recovery, joint pain and arthritis management, overuse injuries, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal health across the lifespan. She especially enjoys caring for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, helping them navigate recovery and achieve their personal health and activity goals through evidence-based treatment and collaborative care.

Ali believes successful outcomes come from understanding each patient's unique lifestyle, goals, and challenges. A St. George native, Ali enjoys spending her free time with friends and family and taking advantage of Southern Utah's beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities. She can often be found at the lake surfing, snowboarding, or skiing in the mountains, hiking local trails and exploring the outdoors. She is also an avid reader and is always happy to accept a new book recommendation.
