Alexis Snyder, NP

Alexis hails from New York City but moved from the Big Apple to rural Idaho during her senior year of high school. After high school, she went to Brigham Young University and earned her master’s degree in nursing and completed her residency at the VA in internal medicine.
She believes in treating the whole person and looking at all the aspects of their life, all of which she believes contribute to her patient’s care. Her clinical interests include palliative care and substance abuse and is certified in 5-point auricular acupuncture (a holistic treatment involving placing sterilized needles into specific sites on ears) to help people detox from various substances.
Outside of work, she loves traveling and being outdoors with her family.
