Alexis Ann Gashler, NP

Alexis Gashler is a nurse practitioner working with the advanced heart failure and heart transplant team at Intermountain Health’s Heart Institute Heart Failure, Transplant and Artifical Heart in Murray, Utah. She supports patients in Riverton, Bluffdale, Draper, Herriman, and surrounding communities by collaborating with her team and managing all aspects of care for complex cardiology patients, including assessing patients, ordering/interpreting tests, developing treatment plans, and more.

Alexis’ first master’s degree was in nursing with an emphasis on education. She is passionate about patient education and health literacy, believing they are driving factors behind many health disparities. Her clinical interests include cardiology, metabolic health, and women’s health.

Outside the clinic, the Salt Lake City native spends time with family – husband, two young daughters, and dog. She enjoys exercising (weightlifting), listening to music/podcasts, and recently began making sourdough bread.
