About Aimee Bitzel
About The Provider
I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Master's in Clinical Anatomy and Physiology from the University of Delaware, where I had the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations throughout inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to that, I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics. Throughout my clinical experiences, I have worked with patients of all ages with various orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, sports, and vestibular/concussion conditions. My clinical interests include orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
My passion for physical therapy stems from growing up and seeing my father work in his private practice as a physical therapist. The joy of seeing patients not only achieve improvement in their function and pain to overall improve their quality of life, but the sense of becoming a part of the medical community was inspiring and led me toward this profession. I'm dedicated to helping my patients reach their full potential and promoting total mind and body wellness. I strive to continue seeking out educational opportunities to enhance my skills in manual techniques and functional training in order to provide my patients with the best care possible.
I'm originally from Baltimore, MD, received both my undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Delaware, lived in northern New Jersey, and worked in New York City, NY for 3.5 years prior to moving to Billings, MT and working at Intermountain Health. I'm an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, enjoy hiking, lifting, and Pilates for exercise, spending time with my family and friends, and researching new restaurants to try!
