About The Provider
Adam Wray, MD, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. He is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. As a hospitalist, Dr. Wray meets with patients already admitted to the hospital. He earned his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, followed by his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and completed his residency training at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Wray's clinical interests include all areas of acute care medicine, and he especially enjoys caring for patients experiencing shortness of breath, where he feels his expertise can make the biggest difference in helping people feel better. "I believe that patients benefit the most when they feel that they understand their plan of care and buy in," he says. "The relationship between provider and patient is key to their well being." Above all, his goal is simple: to help you get better, whatever that means to you.
Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Wray is a father to two young boys and husband to an orthopedic surgeon. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, golfing, and playing soccer.
