Adam Whitney is a physician assistant specializing in surgical oncology at Intermountain Medical Center Surgical Oncology in Murray, Utah. Adam finds great fulfillment in delivering comprehensive, full-spectrum surgical care and guiding patients through their entire surgical journey—from the initial meeting and diagnosis in the clinic, to providing technical expertise in the operating room, to managing postoperative recovery. For him, building a continuous, trusting relationship with each patient through every phase of their oncologic treatment is the most rewarding aspect of being a surgical PA.

Originally from Park City, Utah, Adam is thrilled to return to the community—and the mountains—he loves. Outside of work, his life revolves around family, friends, and staying active. He is passionate about health, fitness, and longevity, whether through strength training, cycling, or keeping up with his family. His favorite moments are spent with his wife, their dog, and introducing their young son to the great outdoors through camping and hiking. He also enjoys time with friends, especially when it involves getting out on the lake for some water skiing.
