About The Provider
Because I am just a big kid myself, I like to joke and play with kids and even make them balloon animals. Although kids are my absolute favorite, I love to see all people from 1 to 92 no matter who they are or what conditions they have. The only condition that I don't treat is chronic pain management. I know how hard it can be to get into the doctor's office with work, school, or whatever so I hold clinic from 7:20 to 5:00 so that you can get in whenever you need.
I grew up on a farm outside of Spanish Fork, UT. I learned how to work hard for long hours and developed a love of medicine working on cows. I enjoy the mountains, farming, gardening, After graduating high school, I went on an LDS mission to Wales and England for 2 years. I joined the United States Army as a Combat Medic where I was able to serve in multiple foreign humanitarian, service, and combat deployments. It was while I was on a tour in Afghanistan that I got to work with many different healthcare providers, but it was the Physician Associates (PA) that impressed me the most because they were down to earth and provided front-line care in the small operating bases. I decided then that I wanted to be a PA because I wanted to be on the front lines of healthcare where I can do the most to help others. In my practice I see people of all ages from birth to over 100 years old, but I specialize in pediatrics. Kids make the best patients! I make them balloon animals, tell horrible dad jokes, sing them songs, or whatever it takes to get them to smile - because laughter really is the best medicine. I treat most conditions that can be handled in a rural clinic except for chronic pain management. I believe very strongly in the importance of preventive medicine and getting to the root of the problem as opposed to just treating symptoms, if possible. I hope to not see you in the clinic very often, however, if you are needing help, I am prepared to go the extra mile to help you live your healthiest life possible.
