I liked Dr. Bulter very much. He explained my problem and listened to my concerns. If I’m successful, I’ll see him again to schedule surgery.

I spent less than an hour with Dr. Bulter, so I don't have a lot of feedback. In that short time, the impression I had was that he was confident and experienced. If I were to give a small suggestion, it would be to acknowledge/validate a patient's anxiety surrounding the procedure during the initial visit. The Dr. did reassure me that it was a routine surgery with very low recurrence. Maybe I did not show it, but I was super worried about this procedure; to me, it was life-changing. A sentence or two to acknowledge that the fear/worry is normal, and just an extra word of reassurance would go far from the surgeon during that first visit. Was still feeling pretty nervous when I left. Post-op was great. General impression was great.

He was very confident that my issue was going to be done with ease. He explained what would be done and why and how. That’s important because no one wants an insecure surgeon. He was pleasant, I liked him immediately.
