Abby Harris, RD

Abby Harris, RD, is a registered dietitian at Intermountain Health's Heber Valley Hospital in Heber City, Utah. She supports patients in Heber, Francis, Kamas, and surrounding communities passionate about helping patients simplify nutrition and build sustainable habits that fit their real lives. Her clinical interests include diabetes prevention and management, chronic kidney disease and dialysis nutrition, weight management and obesity care, cardiometabolic health, and the care of patients facing malnutrition or disordered eating. She especially enjoys partnering with patients over time—helping them improve lab values, build confidence in their food choices, and find small, individualized changes that make a meaningful difference in their quality of life.

As a provider, Abby believes nutrition care should be practical, personalized, and sustainable. Her goal is to meet patients where they are, provide clear and realistic guidance, and empower them to make changes that fit their lifestyle—not work against it. Originally from Beaver, Utah, Abby enjoys staying active and spending time in the mountains with family and friends. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking, paddleboarding, weightlifting, jewelry-making, and fishing.
