Rachael A Pia, NP

Rachael Pia, FNP, is a nurse practitioner board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners at Intermountain Medical Center Neurosurgery Spine Clinic in Murray, Utah. She supports patients 16 and older across the Salt Lake Valley working closely with Christopher Wilkerson, MD, to evaluate and treat patients with complex neurosurgical conditions. Her role includes managing pre and postoperative care and assisting in surgery, helping ensure patients feel supported and informed throughout their care journey.

Rachael brings more than a decade of experience in the operating room, having worked as a registered nurse for 12 years while earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boise State University. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a nurse practitioner at Western Governors University.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys sharing her love of the outdoors with her husband and young children. In the warmer months, she can often be found hiking or biking local trails or relaxing by a lakeside campfire. During the winter, she enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing across Utah’s mountain landscapes.
