Mitchell R. Bassett, MD

I have been a patient of his for over five years and I have a fairly unusual case. As per the plan made with him after my last visit I called to schedule an MRI to assess my current situation. I was there to review that MRI and determine how to proceed. When he came in the room it was clear he hadn’t reviewed my chart and so I felt I had to start at the beginning and explain 20 years of complicated history again. I also felt that he dismissed my knowledge of my own conditions and that expertise of my previous drs in evaluating and caring for me I have no concern about his knowledge and skills but felt very dismissed

He came in when I was prepared for surgery started exactly as he attended and completed the surgery in a minimum of time
