Misti L Timpson, DPT

I am a Board-Certified Physical Therapist in Neurologic Physical Therapy specializing in vestibular rehabilitation as well as general neurological rehabilitation.

I have practiced over 30 years and am passionate about helping people recover and reach their potential so they can return to their former life. I was a college athlete who suffered a knee injury and became interested in helping others recover. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri with my masters of science in physical therapy degree, I started a job in Salt Lake City working with individuals who had suffered a spinal cord injury, stroke, or traumatic brain injury. I love what I do and feel privileged to be a part of the recovery journey. I have worked for Intermountain Health for 30 years and proudly cheer for the Utah State Aggies. I am also employed by Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and am an associate professor in the entry-level physical therapy program. I received my transitional doctorate from University of Utah in 2008 and my PhD from Rocky Mountain University in 2019. My husband, 2 children and I love to hike, play pickleball, volleyball, ski, mountain bike, and run.
