Mackenzie Mattern, MD

Mackenzie Mattern, MD is a family medicine physician at Intermountain Health’s Bountiful Clinic in Bountiful, Utah. She supports patients in Bountiful, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, Centerville, and surrounding communities providing adult acute and chronic conditions, preventative medicine, newborn, pediatric, and adolescent care, women’s health, and more.

Committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, Dr. Mattern strives to build therapeutic relationships through mutual respect and compassion so she can help empower her patients to make informed decisions.

While in residency, Dr. Matter developed an interest in women’s health and obstetric care, which led her to pursue advanced training with a fellowship. She chose family medicine for the ability to understand and care for the whole person through all stages of life.

Outside the clinic, the Illinois native enjoys trying new restaurants, crosswords, and spending time with her partner. She loves to be outside and explore different hiking trails.
