Lori B. Snow, PT

I attended Simpson College in Indianola, IA, where I received my BS in Biology in 1988. My graduate education was at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (now renamed Des Moines University), where I received my Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1990. My early career was spent gaining a wide variety of experiences in physical therapy as a traveling physical therapist. I worked in acute and long-term neuro-rehabilitation, acute and outpatient orthopedics, burn therapy, acute cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, pediatrics, and skilled nursing facilities. I eventually settled into outpatient orthopedics and maintained a Board Certification in Orthopedics from the APTA for 20 years. During this time, I worked in a variety of settings and patient loads, including professional football and volleyball players, runners, ballet dancers, work-related injuries, sports injuries, and overuse injuries. Since adopting our beautiful daughter, I have been working PRN (fill-in) to stay current and feed my brain in the PT world while enjoying time with my daughter.

I was born in Colorado, but after my father's job transfer, I was raised in Iowa. I finally made my way back home to Colorado in 2004. Traveling is my passion, which I interwove with my career as a traveling physical therapist. I have been to 49 out of 50 states and over 35 countries. From these travels, I have been exposed to many different cultures, religions, and people, which helps me relate to and understand my patients in a very deep and unique way. I love learning and listening.
