About The Provider
Janene Holmberg, DPT, is a neurologic-based physical therapist who specializes in dizziness and balance disorders at Intermountain Health's Dizziness & Balance Rehab at TOSH. She supports patients of all ages in Murray and throughout the Salt Lake Valley, helping those suffering from dizziness related to a wide range of inner ear disorders and migraines.
Janene helped establish Salt Lake's first Hearing and Balance Center. She has published articles in major journals and spoken nationally and internationally in her specialty field. She has always loved and pursued a deep "devotion to motion" and continues to be amazed by the healing capacity of movement. Janene is dedicated to learning academically and through new movement, including having completed marathons, triathlons, rock climbing, Nordic skiing, trail jogging, and obtaining a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Janene graduated from the University of Utah, where she studied science/medicine and music. She is a professional musician and has the honor of being the principal violist for the Orchestra at Temple Square, accompanying the Tabernacle Choir locally and in great music venues worldwide.
Janene grew up in Salt Lake City, where she still lives with her husband, surrounded by children and grandchildren. She loves being outdoors, either hiking on the trails or river kayaking.
