James M. Wiesner, PA

It was while working in oncology that James first recognized that he enjoyed working well with older patients, which led him to join the Long-Term Care team. In his role he finds value in being able to provide a full continuum of care for patients who are leaving the hospital to enter a skilled nursing facility and even after they return home. He also has confidence in knowing that if patients require a specialist, he can refer them to a trusted St. Vincent Healthcare provider.

James is originally from Billings, completed his undergraduate schooling at MSU-B and the Physicians Assistant program at Rocky Mountain College. He is the father of three children and felt that it was important to remain in the community he calls home. James says that it also puts the farmers and ranchers he frequently works with at ease, as they know he understands their way of life.
