James P. Coughlan, PT

I am a physical therapist with 27 years of experience and have been with SCL Rehab for the last 17 years. I hold an MS in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Medicine. My inpatient experience includes acute care/ICU, transitional care, and rehab. For the past 22 years, I have worked in outpatient clinics, applying manual techniques to treat orthopedic and work-related injuries. I am certified in the LSVT BIG Parkinson’s Program and also perform wound and burn care. Additionally, I have extensive experience in Functional Capacity Assessments and am trained in both the Matheson and Blankenship protocols. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, sculpting, and participating in various outdoor activities with my family.
