He also finds great fulfillment in educating the next generation of physical therapists as an Assistant Professor at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Born in Provo, Utah, and raised in Walnut Creek, California, David served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Japan before joining the US Army for his physical therapy education. He served on active duty and in the US Army Reserves as a physical therapist, and was mobilized to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany during OIF/OEF from 2005 to 2006. He retired as a Colonel in 2018 with 30 years of combined military service. David has lived in American Fork, Utah, since 1994, and enjoys hiking, biking, and snowshoeing in his free time.
