Daniel A. Dernbach, MD

Dr. D. Dernbach attended Carrol College with a degree in Biology. He received an MD degree from Marquette University School of medicine and served a rotating internship at San Diego County General Hospital, affiliate of the University of California System. Following internship he attended the Marquette University combined residency program and was subsequently boarded in general surgery. During his residency training program he attended a fellowship in general surgery in London, including a rotation through Hammerschmidt Hospital, University Hospital, Chelsea Hospital, St. Marks Hospital, and St. Thomas Hospital all located in central London. Dr. Dernbach had had 35 years of active service in the field of general surgery.

His primary motivation in medicine had been to relieve pain and suffering and to facilitate patients return to good health.
