Dana Waugh, AUD

Dana Waugh, Au.D., CCC-A, is an audiologist who cares for patients of all ages at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Ear, Nose, and Throat, and Spanish Fork Ear, Nose, and Throat in American Fork and Spanish Fork, Utah. She focuses on diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aids, and auditory processing disorder (APD) evaluations. Her clinical interests also include vestibular evaluations, hearing aid technology and rehabilitation, and patient education.

Dana especially enjoys cases where she can solve problems and make a real difference in someone's everyday life. She might be helping a patient hear their loved ones more clearly, fitting someone with hearing aids for the first time, or helping a patient better understand their auditory processing challenges. In each case, she finds it rewarding to help people feel heard, understood, and confident in their hearing care.

Dana believes better hearing is about more than sound. To her, it's about connection, confidence, and enjoying the moments that matter most. She believes hearing care should be personal, approachable, and built around each patient's needs. She creates a welcoming space where patients feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and taking an active role in their care. Dana knows hearing difficulties can be frustrating, so she takes time to listen, explain results clearly, and find solutions that fit each patient's lifestyle. She loves getting to know her patients and works to make every appointment comfortable, informative, and even a little fun. She wants every patient to leave feeling confident and supported.

Dana is from St. George, Utah. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their two young children. She says being a mom is one of her greatest joys. She also enjoys traveling, decorating her home, and finding fun ways to be creative. When she isn't helping people hear better, she's usually chasing after her kids or planning the family's next adventure.
